Does the iPod - iPhone cord work with the Tab 7+?

I have a iPod Nano and the cord doesn't fit. I am not sure if the iPhone and iPods use the same cord tho.

I havent tried it with my ipod touch, maybe I should have last night since I left the charger for my sam7+ at work.

I have to admit the whole proprietary cord thing is very, very lame. When It is going to lose a half or full star in my review accordingly.

I just tried my iPhone cable and NO it does not fit. Definitely proprietary.
