Does the note 2 have gorilla glass?

I haven't found any sources saying that it does, but I would assume so since the Galaxy Note I did have gorilla glass

OMG I want to cry, not this again! Yes it has GG2.
Not stronger than original GG, contrary to popular belief. It is the same strength, but thinner. It is not magic glass that won't break, it is not indestructible, and it CAN scratch.

People (not you) are having a gorilla glass meltdown because the Note II isn't listed on Corning's site as having it. The last Samsung phone mentioned with GG is the SIII which, IMO means they haven't updated their own website in a while.

Really? Every website that has done early reviews on the Note 2 list it as having Gorilla Glass 2 because those are the specs they got from Samsung. Whatever sources you've checked should probably not be reliable sources anymore.
I have chatted with Verizon twice on this subject and both times have been assured that the Samsung Note II does not have Gorilla Glass. The Original Note does but the Note II does not. The Wiki page for Gorilla Glass says that it does but it is incorrect.
I was ready to buy this phone but am back on the fence now because of this. I worry that I'll drop it and have to send it back for service, a process that will cost $150 and take 1-1/2 to 2 weeks (another fact also verified with Verizon).

The only thing you can make a screen out of that won't break is steel. But the
S-pen won't work with steel. And it really kills the contrast.

Yes, this false claim seems to pop up all over the place. It does have GG2!! Corning says so.

Will i am sure it does have GG2, as GSM arena and many other places reviewed the Note II they indicating it does have, also when i got mine from Amazon, in the Product Features, it was indicating very clearly Protection Corning Gorilla Glass 2

The other thing and maybe many of you getting confused about, GG2 or 1 or any kind of protective glasses they have high shear strength, but low tensile strength, and the different is big, shear strength means you can press hard on the screen or even place a heavy object on the screen but slowly and the screen will resist and want broke, and low tensile strength means if sudden impact happened to the screen might break is down like drooping something hard from far on the screen while if the same thing placed gently on the screen it will not break
