Help does the shift do apps2Sd

You have to choose which app that is app2sd want to move to ur sd by going to menu>settings>applications>and tapping on each one you will see the option app2sd if available

there are also a few apps that will alert you when an app you just downloaded/updated supports apps2sd.

If you see "Move to Phone" that means the app is already on the SD card.

I think you mean "move to sd card" which would indicate the app is on the phone, I pressed the "move to phone" option and it said moving then changed to "move to sd card

My understanding is that once you click on "move to sd card", the app is moved to the card and the option then changes to "move to phone", since it is now on the sd card.
