No it doesn't. I believe there are apps out there that could make the soft keys flash for notifications though.

It's the G2x all over again. Only problem with the soft keys flashing was that if not configured with a short interval, it was a battery killer...that, and it would not notify (at the time) for certain widely used apps (e.g. GMail).

install "BLN Control" or "NoLed". The BLN mod turns the touchkey backlights into a notification led. However it requires a kernel with BLN mod. If you have a stock version (non-rooted) phone, install "NoLed". It displays custom notification icons/dots on the screen. Neither of them are battery drainers
