Does this phone have T9 keypad?

Considering buying the Galaxy Y. However, the keypad puts me off, I don't like the look of a touch screen QWERTY pad.

Does the phone have a T9 keypad option, (I think it is T9) where you just have the 1-9 keys, with ABC etc on 2, DEF on 3 etc. And if so, is it predictive text?

locate "samsung keypad settings" inside "settings", click keypad types and choose 3x4. yeps it has predictive text.. xt9

you can now have t9 on portrait and qwerty on landscape.
