Help Does those stock android phones get regular updates?

[jeorgekabbi]

apart from google nexus and pixel phones does other (near) stock android phones like Motorola phones get system updates as soon as google release them?

Nope, they don't. Updates are sent from the manufacturer to the carrier. The carrier tests the update and if there are many problems, then that update will get pushed back until it is compatible with the carrier's phones.
