Does Verizon block torrents over EVDO?

I grabed a torrent client last night and tried out downloading some torrents directly to my phone. Worked great over wifi.

today I'm at work and only have 3g (EVDO) access, I snatched a torrent and it won't budge. Checked all the settings in the client, and can't figure it out.

Does Verizon block torrent traffic on their network?

What client are you using, whats not working? trouble shooting requires details.

Ive literally used them all, wifi and 3g, tried different port. They don't connect, no peers show. please help. being able to dl music on my phone is my only dream.

Look up GTunes music downloader. It is free and has a ton of songs.

Back to the original topic, is there any way around Verizon's block to allow for torrents? I'm thinking a similar process to port-forwarding used in home networks or something?

Yes. You can download via wifi though.

Sorry. You are 190% incorrect. I seem to have no trouble downloading torrents on my Droid X while on EVDO.

Sounds like a user error.
