Help Does your HTC email app work?

Does your HTC email app work fine? I have my peak time set to poll every 5 min, but my email comes in random rather than within the programmed time frame. I was at my desk yestarday and emails were coming in to outlook, but I didn't get them on my phone for hours. I had to open the app to get them to come in. Any way to improve this? Can it be "reloaded"?

I tried K9 and maildroid but they both had issues. I've searched, anything better? I just need reliable email like my blackberry had...

What was the problem that you had? Just so you know...you won't get any platform as reliable as a blackberry which has it's own push service...

Maildroid seems to lag in polling like K9 and HTC app. Is something set up incorrectly with my phone? I have backgroud data and Auto-sync activated. I have connection managment set to stay connected yet mail sits until I open the app. Does this sound right?
