Apps Doesn't fit screen

I have recently developed an app in Eclipse and published it to the Android Market (or are we meant to call it Google Play now..) It runs fine and everything fits on the emulator however, a friend of mine downloaded it onto his phone, which is a fake blackberry, and he says that the bottom of the screen is always cut out but the app runs as it should.

My XML layouts are a mixture of TableLayout and LinearLayout and most of the pages contain more than one ImageView. When uploaded it says it is availabe on screen sizes SMALL NORMAL LARGE X LARGE and on over 1150 devices.

His fake blackberry probably doesnt have a screen size supported by Android. Do other apps wirm fine for him? Also, are you using absolute positiong (i.e. AbsoluteLayout) and/or absolute units such as pixels (px) or point (pt)? you should not be doing any of the above. Also, you need to make sure that you provide graphics for each of your apps supported screen densities. The Android development website provides a plethora of tips for creating device independant UIs. I recommend checking it out. Id provide a direct link, but im on mobile.

Layouts used are only LinearLayout and TableLayout, none of my views are assigned by pixels, just layout_gravity and TableRow.

Odd. All I can really say at this point is that his screen size is not officially supported by Android, and thus some discepancies might exist.

Would you like to show your xml file? Maybe then we could help better.

As a quick fix I would suggest your add a ScrollView at the top level of the layout (if it is reasonable for your app). Because if it isn't showing up properly for your friend, then it most likely won't work for other phones that are that size and smaller.
