Help Doesn't Work with JABRA EasyGo

Hi
I have an XT720 and I am so disappointed in it, maybe it's with the whole Android system. It's every little thing out of the box....... like no TRUE multitasking, not being able to copy and paste from Gmail, not supporting Gmail groups [out of the box] - PLEASE don't tell me to download EXTRA apps, I paid about $500 damn dollars for this, this should be the standard....

The other day I bought a Jabra EasyGo Bluetooth earpiece. The indicators say that it is connected. The earpiece says "connected", but in fact, when I dial the phone using my hand I still hear the audio coming out of the phone.

Also, when I play music it comes out of the phone not out of the earpiece. Why is there NO OPTION to connect it to the phone media. Is there a way to create a Bluetooth profile on the phone to indicate which audio output should go to the Bluetooth device? Why wouldn't ALL of the audio output, that ANYTHING that goes to the phone speaker - go to the Bluetooth device.

The earpiece is in fact sending signals to the phone - if I double click on the earpiece it activates the voice command feature of the phone.....so some type of signal is going back and forth between them.....but NOT all of the audio signal

Any thoughts as to why it says connected but the phone audio isn't getting sent to the Jabra EasyGo?

I should have bought an iPhone!!

HTC desire HD. Same deal with Jabra and my Nokia car kit. I can recieve incomming calls, but that's it. I tried the Vlingo app to do it but it just doesn't. My last 5 phones were fine. The wife just shelled out

First of all, the EasyGo does not support the Bluetooth A2DP profile for streaming stereo audio, so that simply won't ever work. The interesting question here is why it isn't working as a regular headset with your phone.

The first thing I'd do would be to remove the EasyGo from your list of paired devices.

Then, reset the EasyGo - with the unit turned on, press and hold the volume down button and the answer/end button simultaneously until the lights flash 5 times.

I'd even go and reset the phone - turn the phone off and remove its battery for 15 seconds.

When you replace the battery and turn the phone back on, then turn the headset on (it'll be in pairing mode), pair them together and try it again. I think this is all you'll need to get the two talking together.
