Doing things to your android from the web?

[boodie]

Hi all, new to forums so not sure where i should post my questions.

I just wanted to know what and how can we interact with out G1's or android phone via the web? I use gmail and i can edit and add contacts from there, but what else can i use my Gmail account to do things on my g1 without going on my g1 first?

For example i wanted to sync my text messages to the phone or such from my Gmail without the hassle of apps and such.

Thanks everyone

Only calendar, contacts, and e-mail will sync (tasks will with additional app) unless you use Google Voice and send your text messages through there.

You can install Apps from the web using Appbrain and then there's an install to the web plugin. This is great cuz you can instantly push apps to your phone from the web.
