Help Dolby Atmos–how to completely deactivate it?

Hi, I'm on a Motorola g14 w/ Android 13 and need to deactivate Dolby Atmos completely.

If I just switch it off it returns active every time I connect my bt headphones. Which is very annoing.

Is it possible to simply deactivate Dolby Atmos for ever?

Thanks!

On my Samsung phone the Atmos can be turned ON or OFF, and doesn't activate itself. Motorola devices I don't know, but maybe there's something in the settings for it or a third-party control app that's used with certain headphones or speakers, e.g. Bose or Sony?

Thank you so much for your replies!

I searched for any setting or 3rd party app to prevent but w/o success.

The headphones are JVC HA-S36W.

The problem still remains:
Every time I connect the headphones, Dolby Atmos switches ON automatically :(

Any ideas how to disable dolby atmos?

Is Dolby Atmos listed in Settings - Apps? If so tap on it and there might be an option to disable it.

I found this for another Motorola phone, the steps might be similar for yours:

To turn it off when you're listening through the loudspeaker:
  1. Go to Settings > Sound & vibration > Dolby Atmos
  2. Touch

    > About
  3. Tap the version listed three times to add the on/off switch.
  4. Turn it off

Select sound profiles - You can select a preset sound profile for your headphones or other connected device, and your phone will remember the next time you connect it.
  1. Open quick settings, then touch & hold

    Or, open the

    Dolby Atmos app.
  2. Touch Settings
  3. Choose how to adjust sound:
    • To automatically adjust based on the media playing, select Smart audio.
    • To use a preset sound profile, select Music, Movie, Game, or Podcast.
    • To use a custom sound profile where you can adjust a graphic equalizer, select Custom.
  4. To customize a selected sound profile, next to the profile name touch

    , then:
    • Choose an equalizer preset to enhance treble, bass, or vocals.
    • To get a surround sound experience, turn Surround virtualizer on.
    • To keep the same volume level when you switch between audio sources, turn Volume leveler on.
    • To learn more about these settings, touch
      menu_round.png
      > Help.
    • To revert a profile to its original settings, touch
      menu_round.png
      > Reset.
    • To revert to all original settings, on the main Dolby Atmos screen, touch Settings >
      menu_round.png
      > Reset settings.
