dolphin 2.0

Hi:

Dolphin 2.0 froze on me twice this morning. I had to take out the battery to get the phone to respond. I miss the menu from the old version. Needs some more love.

Simple, click the menu key which brings up a URL bar at the top. On the right side of that url bar is a tiny refresh icon. Press it.

That too. Both exactly opposite of what Dolphin used to do and frustrating.

seems like they fixed up the power drain problem....it is VERY fast. I like the low pro interface....giving it another shot ;)

Google near me still doesnt work tho :(
 
Since updating to 2.0 there is no scroll bar on the right side of the screen? Is there anyway to get this back. Kinda lets me know where i am on the page especially in a long thread. Like this thread for example.

Nope. Not that I can find anyway. This coupled with the reverse in behavior for clicked opened links and bookmarks selected is quite frustrating. Not worth the added speed to me so if I had my choice I would like to 'down grade' to the previous version as it worked much better for me anyway.
 
I like the new version, but there is a problem with keyboard in landscape mode.

Try entering an address or typing on here in landscape.
 
i still have a problem from previous versions...i'm using an Eris with SenseUI...when i select the address bar to directly address a site - it tries to find a word to match the address......like it's a text or something. so it hangs on a piece of the address like "funnyord" or "youtu" etc, i'll finish the whole address and then press "go" on the keyboard and it will have the "suggested" hung "word" in green saying its going to auto-correct to that - bam! i'm google searching "youtu". wtf. i have to hit the button that puts the keyboard away and then hit the go button next to the address in order for it to work....not cool.

oh and one other thing...since youtube is f'd on eris right now i'm doing a lot of downloading movies....they need to make just the file name and not the ".mp4" (file extension) highlighted so i don't have to click again to delete the name and then start typing a name i want.
 
I set up a custom gesture to do a Refresh. By default, no gesture was set for that option. This is working pretty well for me.
 
I'm having an issue with multitasking Dolphin. I have Dolphin open on a particular page, I go to another app and when I return to Dolphin, using the extended press on the home button, it starts loading the dolphin home screen rather than keeping my original page I was on.

Any setting to keep the page? It's almost acting like it's not staying resident in memory, but it is running in memory because I can see it in task killer.
 
For some reason the new version is not remembering passwords.

And the gesture recognition is not as accurate as it was before, I am having a hard time creating new windows, and it's just an "N"
