Dolphin browser open links in new tabs???

How do you open a link in a new tab when using the dolphin browser? I assumed long pressing the link would bring up an option but it does not, unless its just mine. I am running 2.0.1 on droid if it makes a difference.

Long press on a link on my Hero brings up a context menu which has "Open in new tab" as an option. Not sure why it doesn't on the Droid. Maybe try closing Dolphin with a task manager and restarting, or rebooting your phone?

No, nothing happens at all. When i finally let go, the link has an orange border around it but nothing happens. I can click on it normally and it opens fine.

weird, try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it, could be a dodgy install.. Especially if you did an update to the version you are currently using.

I use the dolphin browser sometimes, but I don't trust it 100% I.e when your asked to log into your google account to add rss feeds, It leaves me un easy just given that info to an app. How safe is the dolphin browser bc I would to use it as a default bc pinch to zoom is great of course I even like the gestures alil. Also when you hve mjultiple tabs open and ur hiding the topbar of the tab u can quick swipe left to right or vice versa and it will switch to the next tab don't no if anyone knew that.

Anyone still having trouble with opening links in new tabs?? I understand the long press thing. For example, when clicking on a link from a message in my Gmail app or Exchange email app, the old Dolphin used to open in a new tab. However, in the updated Dolphin, it doesn't do so, and a long press on the email link doesn't bring up the "new tab" option.

Also, +1 re. the lack of scroll bar at the edge of the new Dolphin. Why would they have gotten rid of this?? Makes no sense.

Took me a while to figure it out. Here's how:

1. Long press the link. This opens the radial options.

2. In the radial options, slide finger onto the "Link" segment, then remove finger. This opens a menu of options for the link.

3. Press "Open in new tab."

I wish someone would write a user manual for the Dolphin browser. It has a lot of capabilities, but they are difficult to find and use without instructions.

Is there anywayto get the gmail app to open email links in new tabs using dolphin hd? Currently, it only opens in the first tab and any subsequent email links open in the first tab, overwriting what was already there.
