Dolphin browser zoom lag?

I have a lot of lag with the ZOOMING function of the Dolphin browser for my Hero. Whether I use the multitouch pinch-zoom, or the actually zoom buttons on the bottom of the screen, its laggy. Am I doing something wrong? The pinch-zoom is way laggier than the pinch-zoom on the stock browser...

I'm sure I saw a post today about theirs an update just came out that has sped it up , Have you checked the Market for an updated version? :)

The Dolphin Browser (latest update) is just great. It has pinch to zoom that works well, it is much faster than the standard Android 2.0 browser, has gesture support.

Pinch/zoom faster than original Hero browser? Are you sure? Because whenever I try to pinch-zoom with the Dolphin browser, it is VERY slow and takes seconds for it to catch up to my finger's movements.

Can't speak to the Hero because I've never had one, coming from the iPhone 3GS to the Droid. As to the Droid, there is NO lag on the pinch zoom on the Dolphin browser at all. Plus it renders pages much more quickly than the stock Android browser and faster than mobile Safari on the iPhone 3GS.

I have just downloaded the dolphin browser, and love it, except for the slow touch zoom. Nothing happens until you have already taken your fingers of the screen, so you cant judge how much you are zooming in. The Hero touch zoom is pretty much flawless.

Shame, because it has a lot of cool features, like tabbed browsing.
