I have just purchased an Android tablet which is supposed to be compatible to 3G Dongles. I plugged my dongle in and it wouldn't work. I don't have a router so am unable to connect it to Wifi.
I took the tablet to a place where they have free Wifi today and it connected ok with that.
Could it be that my Dongle is just not up to date enough and compatible with the Androids as it is configured for Windows I think. It works on XP, Vista and Windows 7.
I had a look at my ISP site and there was mention about their customers eventually all being changed over to 4G by the end of 2012 so that we can get Windows Live (or something like that), so I am wondering if this has something to do with me not being to connect to the tablet with my 3G Dongle??? Not being a computer Geek, I am a tad confused.
