I'm from Sydney, Australia. Just bought my first smartphone. The wife has had an Iphone for over a year now but she's jealous of my Android phone.
I shopped around, settled on a budget did some research and chose to buy the Huawei IDEOS x5. I'm not dissapointed with it at all. It does more than I thought it could do as I was really only after a failr entry level smartphone. At $260(AUD) it came at a good price.
I'm willing to leave it as is. I mean I'm not interested yet in rooting it.
Looking forward in joining the community here at Phandroid. It's already been a great help and someday I hope to help people in return.
