Don't buy Tetris from EA

I bought the Tetris game from EA awhile back when it all the EA games were on sale for $.99. Now when i go to the market to update Tetris, it says "the requested item could not be found". When i search for Tetris in the market it shows up as if i didn't buy it. Its now listed as $7.99. I read the comments people left and they are all having the same problems. When you purchase the game, later on its listed as if you didn't buy it. I cannot play the game since it needs an update. I would not recommend anyone purchasing this game, unless they fix this problem. Right now, it seems they are just stealing and the android market is just letting this happen. Anyone else having this problem? Sorry if this has been brought up, i searched for this and found nothing.

This is an old issue that came about months ago. It's not entirely EA's fault but I understand why you are upset.

It's really Google and Verizon's fault. Google for letting Verizon have their own custom version of the Android Market and allowing them to change what is available and pricing on 'their' Android Market.

My suggestion is to use Market Enabler on a rooted device and choose T-Mobile as the carrier you want to spoof. Then your purchase of Tetris will be available for download.

If your not rooted and don't want to. Call and complain to Verizon, they should be able to give you credit towards your bill which you can use to buy the 'Verizon' if you wish.

Thanks, Im rooted so i will give it a shot. I read somewhere that switching to t-mobile would only let you download the game, but not play it. I guess you could always switch back. You would think if this has been going on for a couple months, they would have done something about it. Thanks for the quick reply.
