I love the Dolphin browser, but recently I'm getting pop-up ads on some websites. Is there an ad blocker add-on for Dolphin? I can't seem to find one. I'd hate to have to change browsers because of some annoying ads. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
 
It never happened to me, but I use Adfree, although you need to be rooted. A plugin specifically for Dolphin... I don't know if there is. There might be.

I'm not rooted, so I can't use adfree. There's no add-on to Dolphin for ad blocking that I can find. Anyone else having this issue?

Seriously, it maybe an app you have recently installed because I'm not getting any besides the ones from here when I first log on.

I don't get them on every site, just a few. I'm getting one all the time is on a site called Pharyngula - freethoughtblogs.com/pharyngula.

If any of you have Dolphin, please check it out and see if you get pop ups on that site. It doesn't appear when I first get on the site, but as soon as I scroll down, there it is. Thanks.
 
I suggest rooting your phone.then installing adaway.i used to get a ton of ads.but now i get none because of adaway.im not sure theres an ad blocker addon for dolfin.
 
I did some looking around and couldn't find the ad block add on for Dolphin in the market or in the browser itself. I know they used to have one cause I used to have it on my Droid X. I saw one old post here that suggested they may have pulled it.

I'm also using the Dolphin browser but it seems like their ad blocker add-on is only available for iOS.

Is there an option for a phone running Cyanogenmod? What about some proxy through which Dolphin would connect?
