DOS Command Reference

Where I work I have to interface with a number of machines that run on DOS. For a non-programmer, I was pretty handy with DOS back in the day, but that was quite some time ago.

I remember keeping a little book beside me on my desk full of all the DOS commands and the syntax for each.

I would like to see a simple app that could do the same thing. An index of the commands, tap the command and see the syntax. Some sort of groupings might be nice: File commands, Directory commands, etc.

So like an API reference. Search commands with keywords and descriptions of there parameters?

Don't really know what an API reference is, but yes I am looking to search commands with keywords. When I find the command I am looking for, I need the syntax and available switches. Maybe a brief usage note would be helpful too.
