"dotty" screen on galaxy s

hey guys,

i'm amazed that i can't find any info on this...

is the galaxy s supposed to have a "dotty" or "spotty" or something screen? i bought one the other day from a cheap online retailer. i had a htc desire before this. the screen on that was clean and clear. this one seems brighter, but the dots make it a little harder to read text when it's not zoomed in. i'm not sure if i'm going crazy.

interestingly, the phone came with what seemed to be czech republic settings by default (but english works fine).

i can find a good camera to take a close photo of the screen if needed...

it's a very fine grid of dots. but noticeable all the same.
other than this, the phone seems great. and it's a true multi touch screen (unlike the desire) which is excellent.

A screenshot would help to know the issue better.

If you look closely you can see the dots. But it shouldn't be too much of an issue during normal usage.
