Help Double messages? Is it just me or boost in general?

I'll admit I've been messing around a bit with settings.. but I'm wondering if anyone else is getting double messages or if its just something I've done? I ask because I'm getting two messages and not just two notifications.. anyone else getting double messages?

Nevermind its gosms since the latest update apparently... even with default settings

really? are you using 4.39? I tried rolling back to an earlier version but can't find one...

i use gosms too, yeah sometimes i get double texts, one from the built-in messaging client, and one from gosms. i dunno if anything can be done about it

I know alot of us like to use GOsms and get double notification,so what u will need to do is go to your default messaging app for phone,then hit menu,settings,and their will be a section that says "notifications" uncheck this box that should take care of it.

Thanks but I actually had the default message app frozen... it was a pure gosms prob but it went away on its own...

I don't have any messaging apps and I got double messages a few times the other day (have only had the phone activated for a few days).

On my previous phone (palm centro) anytime someone sent me a text over 160 characters, it'd appear as an image I'd open to see the text. Now on this phone, it appeared as a download button the other day and when I opened it, it would appear twice and chime twice (not sure, but it may not have chimed before that at all).

As a test I just asked a friend to send me a large text. And although it seems it was delayed, as it came after his second text asking if it was big enough, it did not appear twice and it didn't have a download button to open it either.

Too new of a phone to know what's standard practice, but I was getting double messages without GOsms.
