Root Double Tap?

One more issue I can't seem to fix. When you usually double tap the screen the launcher menu comes up with (wallpaper,screen manager,settings,etc.) well this happens off and on to me (guessing different roms) but when I double tap my screen a blue box appears around it and zooms in. This is really annoying and I've dug into every setting I could think of to fix it. Any ideas guys?

On the stock launcher the default way to bring up the settings menu for the launcher is to press and hold.

It sounds like the issues you're describing are ROM related, its hard to tell for sure, as I've never experienced the blue box.
 
This is the blue box that I'm talking about. It zooms in every time I double tap the screen regardless if I'm in an app or at my home screen. I'm running Apex launcher and Vanir ROM.

 
Did you clear apex data? By the way the original post was stated we all thought you were using just the stock launcher.

Oh yeah sorry. I cleared data and also switched between Launcher 3 and Stock and it had the same results when double tapping the screen. I might just switch ROMs and see if its that. Only problem is finding a ROM that runs ART stable.
