Help DoubleTwist not recognizing my EVO

Ever since I downloaded DoubleTwist it's a hit or miss if it recognizes my device. I plug it in using the usb and then open DowbleTwist and my device does not show up. I have tried switching it from Charge Only mode to Disk Drive Mode and neither work.

Sometimes I can open DoubleTwist and it does recognize my device. I don't understand why it's hit or miss??

Anyone else having this issue? Or have any suggestions on how to solve it?

I had the same issue with my Droid and home computer running Windows 7. I removed it from both and reinstalled it to both. Seemed to do the trick.

have you tried sync mode? just hit the back arrow when it actually starts trying to sync... and see if it sees it then.

I had the same problem. Switched to isyncr. It works flawlessly.

I am guessing it is similar to iTunes? Is it free? I have used iTunes for awhile now even prior to owning an iPhone so I am used to how it works and I like the set up. So I am looking for something similar that I don't have to pay for.
