Im kinda new to all this so please dont laugh.Ok I have an LG Optimus Dynamic and it came with a 4gb sd card.Well all of the music ive downloaded is being saved to the internal memory.Was told to get DoubleTwist and set it to save music to my card,which I did but its still saving to internal memory but I have it set to save to card.Can anybody help? This is driving me mad and I dont want to lose all the music I have.

How are you downloading music? From the Internet to the phone? From the PC to the phone? I typically download music to my PC and then transfer it over to my phone's SD-card via USB, or with an SD-card reader, or via WiFi to the SD-card's "Music" folder. From there, any music player app will find it. You don't need Double Twist.
I find it hard to believe that your music is being stored in internal memory, but if so, you may need to root it and use a root-level file explorer app like the (free) ES File Explorer.

I am using my phone to d/l music.I was told,since my intternal memory was filling up,to get doubletwist as it has the option to store music in the internal memory or to the sd card.I changed the setting to where it saves it to sd card but as previously stated its still filling up internal memory.Im goin to a friends to see if i can upload music to laptop and then put it on the sd card that way.Also do I need to format the card to use it even though it came with the phone ? I drive a race car and work on cars and thought i was pretty good with electronics until I bought this phone.
Ok so I upload all my music to my friends laptop and formatted my phone and now I have all of my internal memory back but its still downloading music to the internal memory even though DoubleTwist is set to save to my sd card.This is driving me absolutely nuts.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You're not using Double Twist to download music so Double Twist is irrelevant. Double Twist is dormant on the sidelines when you download music. You still didn't say how you are downloading music. That's where the problem lies. You need to tell your music-downloading app to put the downloaded music onto your SD card (if possible).
If the song files are getting stored to internal memory, you'll need to use the music-downloading app to move the song files to the SD-card, or you'll need to be rooted and access you internal memory with a root-level file explorer.
