Root Downgrade 7.4.6

Okay, I rooted via bin4ary, and I want to install a second bootloader and Twrp. The instructions say there are problems with later versions and to downgrade with Kindle Fire First Aid. Do I need to unroot to do that? KFFA is a root tool, isn't it?

Well u can try with you current software and if it doesnt work downgrade which i suppose u dont need to unroot because it will unroot it kinda like a software update still unroots it same with downgrades and if your scared of bricks trial and error and if u can restore to normal or unbrick go with trial and error
