I have the non rooted ICS 4.0.4 on my Thunderbolt. I was wondering if anyone knows how to downgrade/revert back to Gingerbread. Thanks.

the thunderbolt is old enuff downgrade is pretty easy by simply changing the main version to something lower than the ruu you want to run.

if youre willing to htcdev unlock, its actually pretty easy. just unlock, install recovery, install superuser files, then flash a zipfile to lower the main version, then run the downgrade ruu.

i suggested the steps above on an thread on xda,and those users were able to successfully downgrade: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2139815

im intending to make a"noob friendly" guide and post it here, and hopefully trter can also add downgrade to his tool.

holler if you have questions,or ill try and have a guide up in a day or 2 :)

That works perfect.
Now how to get the darn NO SIM removed!
Any idea's?

glad it was helpful

best way to egt rid of the no sim message is to put in a sim ;) it can be an old one or a different provider, but should make the message go away :)
