Root Downgrading from Honeycomb

Hi everyone. I bought an HTC Evo View tablet on Craigslist. It is currently running Honeycomb. All I want to do is reset it back to factory defaults in order to sell it and wipe my personal data from the tablet. I have tried the factory reset method and the power button/volume down method. Both give me the same result.....I end up at an "Android System Recovery" menu. When I choose the wipe option and it ends with an error message "E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p35"

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you !

not sure if you are still looking for help but you should look at the view section on xda. they have a great tool for the view that helps with all sorts of things including up/downgrading

I'd like to do this as well. HC has pretty much rendered my tablet useless. Thanks for the tip pbanj.
