Downgrading from Marshmallow

I need help with how to downgrade safely from Marshmallow to Lollipop on my ZTE Sonata 3. I've never seen any information on ZTE devices, just Samsung and Nexus.

Are you Rooted? Because without root and custom recovery flashed, there is nothing you can do.

The ZTE Sonata 3 originally came with Marshmallow, it's very unlikely anyone has made a downgraded custom Lollipop ROM for it.

Generally only other Marshmallow and newer ROMs (Nougat) would be made.

Didn't that phone come with Marshmallow? It's virtually impossible to downgrade then.

What are issues are you having?
