Root Downgrading Questions on LG Optimus M

Hi to everyone, I`m new in the forum and I just bought this phone today. But it came with the update that won`t let me root. I was thinking to downgrade it, but I have a couple of questions:

If I downgrade it, do I have to reprogram the phone again???
I mean do I have to take it to the store to activate it again???

Any help would be appreciate

You would only have to set up all your settings again. The phone would function as normal.

I will try the downgrade when i get home, cuz Im currently working
