Download apps without a gmail account

If you really want nothing Google on your phone, buy one that can be easily rooted and has a cyanogenmod ROM available for it, install that and do not install a google apps package (the basic CM ROM does not include Google apps). Make sure your browser does not have Google set as the default search engine. Make sure nobody you know uses GMail, since Google will have access to any mails they send to you or you send to them even if you do not use it yourself. Also make sure that nobody you communicate with has their messages backed-up to the cloud, since if they have then all of your communications with them end up there too - to completely go dark to Google requires more than just you not using their services.

Then use an alternative app store of your choice. Beware of random app download sites though, as they often contain apps that have been infected with malware. Some apps may not be available except through apps stores that you don't want to use: that is the app developer's choice, and in that case you just have to find an alternative app.

As noted above, Google are far from the only company in the tracking business, but for Google specifically that's what I'd do. And of course any online activity you carry out, such as posting here, is being catalogued by Google as well as other search companies. So it's really a matter of how far you want to go, and how little of an online profile you can manage with.

I want to be anonymous in what i do online

In that case use disposable "burner phones", don't create use Google, Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp or any other public accounts, use VPN services to mask your true location and encrypt your traffic, and use a web browser with an "incognito mode" that doesn't leave any history. Anonymity on teh interwebz is definitely possible, but you forego convenience. The choice is yours.

Or maybe.. just not engage in any activity that's illegal. Google don't make laws but, like the rest of us, is merely subject to them. If a subpoena/warrant is served it is obliged to comply.

Just saying i am not paranoid, i know all this. I was just having bad luck back in the old days messing with the wrong guys. Using my gmail for the wrong purposes. Was just making a point, someone was saying that i a paranoid. Well thats not the truth, i am not paranoid. google, and gmail are tracing everybody using them. And i am pissed that i have to make a gmail account just for download some apps for my phone. I know i can get around it, i just give a shit. Someone trying to **** with me like they did some years ago, i just shoot them.

Well, you would be using Google's services. Of course you register. That seems common sense enough. If you want apps but don't want to register to Google, look somewhere else.

To be fair, nobody here was saying you were paranoid because you didn't have an account here until you posted that.

But I will give one last tip: if you are worried about the authorities using your online activities against you, don't go round posting that you will shoot people...
