Help Download complete when scrolling some emails

[Toshlington]

Sorry if this sound a bit thick but I keep getting a download complete message when scrolling down some (not all) emails. How can I find and remove these mysterious downloads as they're not in the traditional downloads folder. Any help would be great. Phone is Galaxy A3 and emails are via Hotmail........ Thanks in advance...... Alan

Possibly they're email attachments?

[Toshlington]

Yeah possibly.... I thought they would be in the download folder, but there's nothing. Just worried I might be spyware or something else malicious

There is a setting for download attachments when on wifi, but the files themselves won't be downloaded to the downloaded folder. They will just be cached so they can be opened immediately in the email app without going through a download wait.

Could it be that the sender of these emails contain images in their signatures? I see that frequently and you wouldn't see those in the download directory.
