download failed.. why????

Hey ....
Recently all images and ringtones and so on i download they either fail or it says it was saved when its not! Coz im not able to find them anywere...
I tried clearing download manager's data but it only worked with 4shared app when i tried to download asong and thats all!!
But this problem doesnt include downloading apps coz im able to download apps smoothly Thanks God!!!!
Anyone knows how to solve this?

Download the app in the Play Store called "download all files", if your on Gingerbread that should help if your on ICS or Jellybean you will want to delete the app after downloading whatever you need sue to wonkiness
 
I just had that happen on the Nexus. Then it dawned on me the app had to be installed on the phone itself and not storage. Once I moved the app to the phone, it worked.
I have "install to usb storage" checked.

im using boat browser for downloading images.... also lots of apps like 4shared and wallpaper HD and zedge yet nothing works! :\

the problem is i have a very small internal storage and i have this error notification about small available internal storage most of the time

I am sorry to say this, but perhaps you are running up against issues because your phone is a little outdated, and not all things will work on older phones. Also your internal storage may be full, which is preventing the stuff from downloading and then saving on your sd card.

Y'know i was afraid of something like that ... Is there anyway to upgrade?
 
I tried another browser and still not working but surprisingly the internet app that came with the device is the only one that im able to download images from... Oh well whatever :(
