[ DOWNLOAD ]Joyn Apk For MetroPCS

dumb question here: Can you text someone through wifi even though they dont have the app or even MPCS? In my house there is a lack of coverage so its hard for me to receive texts or make calls. The wifi calling works well though!

yes u can call and txt through wifi and the person will recieve it like normal.

I've tried texting my dad and he doesnt receive nothing. I can call but the text doesnt work. oh well
thats strange mikey and ricky both recieved my messages through joyn even mms. maybe its something wrong with his side.

I was only able to send text through the joyn app if I am connected to network. But it doesn't work through wifi.

When you hit a 1x area and joyn doesn't work, does your phone get stuck in 1x? Mine does...until I put it in airplane mode and then turn it off

This joyn thing sounds like what that republic wireless company is doing. If I thought that this type of thing was bug free or even more stable they don't seem like a bad choice for 19 a month but ill stick with metro.

There is no current version.

Joyn was only compatible with the old CDMA Metro system and phones, it is no longer supported since the T-Mobile takeover and GSM conversion. Not sure why it still shows up in the Play store, must have slipped through the cracks.

Joyn is a Rich Communication Services (RCS) communication client. Rich Communication Services does not should require CDMA. Rich Communication Services should be usable on any network that supports it. The Rich Communications Services technology was started by GSM Association.

At this time there appears to be no native Android app that supports Rich Communication Services. A client must be installed or be provided as a stock ROM bundled app(s).

T-Mobile USA supports Rich Communication Services and branded it as "Advanced Messaging". See the T-Mobile Newsroom article, https://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news-and-blogs/advanced-messaging-blog.htm .
