Help download mode

OK, fooling around with the S4 mini, got into download mode, screen says "Downloading... Do not turn off target!!". So what is it downloading? How long will it take?

Are you rooted or can I say do u know how to stop that pull the battery . that download mode is for updates or fixing a bricked device

Not rooted. So i should remove the battery, wait a bit, re-install and everything will be OK? Or have i messed it up? Thank you,

Yes you can remove and reinsert the battery...No harm done
