download pics/ringtones keep dissappearing

Samsung Note 3: for the last couple months now, all my downloads (pics, ringtones) keep dissappearing. I bought an SD card but they aren't there. Just my camera pics are there. Sooper frustrating!!!! Could my phone have a virus? I downloaded the Bitdefender app. It says I'm all good.

Everything you download gets saved to internal memory. After you download anything. Go into your file msnager and look for what you downloaded and then select and move to sd card.
