Help download pictures via SMS

I have received a text on my Huawei Ascend Y phone that contains a "download" buttom. When I use the button, the labe changes to "downloading" but nothing seems to happen. How is this process supposed to work and what am I doing wrong. If the picture is downloading, where is it going? I looked in the gallery but there are only the three camera shots I took when I first powered up the phone a couple of weeks ago. Can anyone help me?

Try enabling data when you go to download the image. That happeend with me and once I did that it worked. Hope this helps.

when you download pictures you will need a data connection. you can also try clearing the cache from the messaging app.
