Guys, how do you download large compressed files (.rar) from sharewares. coz if i try to do this from default browser then it shows "unknown file format" and doesnot download the file. and Opera mini is never good at downloading large files. it always shows "failed" message. Is there any Download Manager apps, or can u give any suggestion for downloading .rar file?

I agree that opera mini is not good to download large files..but I had no problems with the stock browser...i would say it is best for downloading...may be the site's server is down ..try downloading from other sites...hope it helps..
Thanks for ur suggestion. I've noticed one thing that after installing "File Expert", which supports .zip I can download .zip files but this File Expert doesnot support .rar. I think if I get an application installed that supports .rar file then may be I'll be able to DL .rar file from default browser. Can you tell me if u use any file manager app?
ok .... 4Got everything . Just download Ucweb frm official website. Nothing compared to this in nokia as well as in android. It is awoesome browser..... And it has build in download manager with resume capabilities. It also come with file manager.
I have downloaded large file using it. At least 643 mb. A movie.......
So...Download rar or any other format using ucweb and unzip it using winrar for android... Simple....
