Help Downloaded App won't show on homescreen

My Kindle app - a preloaded app on my Asus Transformer 300 - will not show on my homescreen. I've unloaded it and redownloaded it numerous times, but it still won't show. I've also rebooted the system and still nothing. The only way I can access it is to go through Google Play. Curious if there is something I can do to fix this. I've contacted Kindle support and they tell me this is a tablet issue, but this is the only app I've had issues with.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I have no problem installing it on any screen on my tf300. How are you trying to install this on the screen? I just hit the little logo top right, then scroll through the apps to find "Amazon Kindle" (note it is in the A's not K's), press and hold it then place it on the screen.

If you don't find the Amazon Kindle app in your tablet's app drawer - like Peter has suggested - you'd try create a shortcut of the app on your home screen with the help of ES File Explorer.
ES has a build-in app manager which is able to that.
Start ES, tap on Tools, App Manager, System Apps, choose Amazon Kindle and have a long press on it, the app will be checked and then tap on More, Add to Desktop ... voila, you'll have the Amazon Kindle icon on your home screen :)
