Help Downloading Adblock

I have a Nexus 7 (pre 2013) running version 4.4.2 I tried to download Adblock from adblockplus.org after setting the permission to allow downloads from places other than the Playstore. It wouldn't load. At least, it doesn't show up anywhere. Each time I tried to download, another download arrow appeared in the upper left corner of the screen. Am I doing something wrong?

To which folder did you download it? You can search your file manager. I tried downloading it through Chrome and through ES downloader and both times it ended up in Downloads folder.

There it was. I haven't downloaded anything, other than from the PlayStore, so I need to learn the process. Thank you very much!
