downloading apps from google play

hi everyone
i am a new member

i have a probleme when i try to download any app from google play it show me a gray statue bar and dosn t download the app it give a "waiting for network" mesage and take forever ?
i tried to clear the cache but the prob is still there
same probleme for updates

i have a htc desire HD running android 2.3.5 and sence 3.0

Have you tried clearing the market data from the app and seeing if that helps?

I'm having the same problem. Tried it on two different phones with two different carriers. I deleted cache and data from Play and the download manager. Also ran fix permissions. Nada. Gray bar with "downloading" message, but it won't download. I'm having no problems downloading from 1Mobile. Definitely thinking it's something on Google's end.

Disregard this one. Stupid Droid Wall!

I'm looking at the picture and from the icons, the phone isn't connected to the internet?

Clear "Google play", "Download manager", "Download agent" cache and data. After that restart the phone. Also try to download app using another network or connection.
