Help Downloading on 4g

Anyone have issues downloading files through 4g? I don't know if it's my 4g signal or if something else can be at fault but at the current time that I am posting this I am trying to download a .apk file from a website, it can be anything. A picture, file, video, anything it just won't download. Then when I switch to 3g even with the lowest possible signal I can have it downloads files flawlessly. I'm using the stock browser, maybe it would work on chrome?
 
Can't be, I can go to different towns and I still have the issue, it only happens with browser downloads, everything else like app updates works fine.
 
Yea same thing happens in chrome as well. It just stays at <untitled> until I switch to 3g or wifi.

The only time that I can remember anything similar was with YouTube a couple of versions back wouldn't play on 4G because of a bug. Never had browser issues. You've tried multiple sites with different browsers huh?
 
I also have the same problem here for long time..I can download anything on 4g except when I'm on the browser trying to download a file..I yet haven't found the issue of this problem.
 
Yea I've tried the stock browser and chrome, I've tried downloading whatever I could and it wouldn't ever start up. I don't want to have a 3rd browser just for that though. I'll see if another works.

I just tried the dolphin browser and it works exactly how I want it to. I'll go compare the settings to the stock browser because I really don't want 3 different browsers on my phone :p.

Nothing in the stock browser settings have anything to do with downloads so ill just make dolphin my default I guess =/.

Same here - I was using Mobster and then Stock and everything on 4g was awesome. I installed Harmonia 3.17 last night and when trying to download on 4g from the included browser, the phone sits 'waiting' with an <untitled> tag on the download file.
 
I assume Harmonia is the culprit, I guess I'll flash a different room I like later on. Maybe Unlocked Potential.
 
A very good alternative that I don't see mentioned very often is the Boat browser, lightweight and extremely fast. I was always a Skyfire or Dolphin user but since switching to Boat a few months ago it's definitely my new goto browser of choice.
