I have a Samsung Android phone from Walmart, I cant get my pics and short vids to download to my laptop, I can hook anything else up and it goes almost auto, but my phone will not, I asked the folks at Walmart and they looked at my phone and turned my Bluetooth on, it still doesn't work, I cant take any pic or vids, the phone is full, what can I do? I have new grandbabies, I need pics! lol

Its hard to answer but I will do my best.

When you connect the phone to your laptop you should get some notification from the computer that a device has been attached. If not, you may be able to navigate to the phone by clicking on "My Computer". Under "My Computer" you should see things like "OS ( C: )" which is your computer's hard drive, as well as maybe an E: drive (DVD drive). You should also see any attached devices like your phone. Its hard to know what will appear because it varies depending on which phone and what operating system you have on your PC. When I plug mine in, a little phone icon appears and reads "Galaxy Nexus". It may say something more generic on yours like "External Storage F:". If you double click on this it will open a new window that says something like "Internal storage" or maybe "SD Card". Double click on it and look for a folder called "DCIM". This is where your camera files are stored. Double click on DCIM and inside should be a folder called "Camera". All of your photos and videos will be stored in this folder. You can now open another folder on your PC that you would like to copy the pictures to and cut and paste or drag and drop them onto your PC.

It is possible that there is an issue with your PC not recognizing that your phone is attached or that the software required for connecting is not working properly. If that happens, and you have a WiFi network at home, you can use an app called Airdroid to connect your phone to your PC wirelessly. Once you've installed the app and connected to your PC, you can use Airdroid's interface through your web browser to download the photos to your PC.

I hope this answer has assisted you with your issue!
