Plug your phone into your PC. What you do after that depends on which phone and which version of Android you have.
 
If you have a wireless network at home (WiFi) install DropBox. It's a free cloud storage app that makes transferring single files easy between multiple devices (phone, tablet, PC). Also, if you have WiFi, you can set up DropBox to transfer your photos to your PC automatically when your phone is in range of your home WiFi.
