Downloading problem..pls help me.

hii friends...
i m using gingerbread 2.3.5.
I wntd to update 2.3.6.
i m downloading the firmware from my android phone itself..
Now the problem is..Whenever i start downloading the particular firmware file (which is 134 mb or 140mb according to diffrnt firmware). It shows DOWNLOAD STARTING... And in a fraction of seconds FILE CHANGES TO THE SIZE 272B.
Wht the Hell is going on guys...I tried phone browser..opera mini..ucweb...but the problm is same..help me plss...
