Help downloads not saved

i have downloaded some apps and games.. and i cant see the downloaded setup files.. if so i can share those downloads to my frnd who doesnt hav internet conection. where are the downloads will be saved? i cant see them in downloads folder.. pls help me wit this issue.. note: i havent rootedmy samsung gal y yet.. thanks
