Help Downloads to Files

I am using Samsung Galaxy s4 (GT 19500 Adroid 4.4.2) and would like to move downloaded files from the download app to other file folders on the phone, like i will download songs and would like to transfer the songs to my playlists. The only option on the download page is to transfer the file external to the phone (facebook, email) but no where internal to the phone.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Any file explorer/manager can move it from download directory to any directory of your choice.
I like Es file explorer.

I don't work with play lists much, ...I think usually those are created in the same app that plays them?

not to the SD with KitKat. That was one of the things that KK brought. Every app has to play in its own sandbox on the external SD card.

My file apps, and ftp apps stopped working after KK.

I read that the Verizon release didn't have such a restriction.
