Downloads unsuccesful

I bought my first two apps today. Armeggdeon squadron and beautiful widgets. I have been trying for hours to get them to download. Every time i try i get a download unsuccesful notification.
I want my apps and it is pissing me off. How can i fix this?

Have you tried a restart, then downloading?

I just did a hard reset becuase of a soft key problem and it still wont work

EDIT: Now google is saying my payment has been denied but in the market it says i have purchased it and i get to the download option but i cant download it because i get the unsuccesful option.
