1. Manufacturer - Motorola
2. Model - Droid Mini
3. Software version - 4.4.4 KitKat
4. Phone is not rooted.
Specifics of the problems:
1. Whenever I download something from the internet, it automatically puts it in my DOWNLOAD folder. I use ES File Explorer. If I delete the file from ES and empty the recycle bin, the file is still listed in my original Downloads app and I have to delete it from there also even though I know it's gone because if I click on the file in the Downloads app is says the file cannot be found. Is there a way of avoiding all this jumping around to delete a file three times?
2. When downloading a file from the internet it automatically downloads and puts it in the Download app. I then have to open ES to move it to the correct folder and again, after doing so, I have to delete it from the Download app, even though it's not really in that folder anymore. I've done an exhaustive search for a SIMPLE download manager that will ask me, "save to," and allow me to name the file and choose the folder I desire as you would on a PC to no avail. Could someone recommend a SIMPLE download manager that will do this for me? It's mostly for pics and music.
Question 1 is a problematic query and question 2 is more of an advice query. Please help me if possible, because I've been searching for these answers for almost a month and I'm extremely frustrated. There has to be an answer to these 2 simple questions or I'm just missing something that is very simple. I'm beginning to hate Droid and starting to think app writers are very clueless.
