Help DREADED MMS not downloading

I have read on the interwebs about this issue and have not solved my issues

I have a new Samsung Galaxy s7 edge using default text app
I live in USA and have Verizon
I traveled to Canada and now having issues with MMS. I just got phone last week so not sure if it happens in USA as well.
I keep getting the MMS not downloaded and expires.....

I have my plan on GLOBAL, MMS set to auto retrieve.

Should I try another text app?

Have you tried to download Verizons MMS settings again, normally you can get these from your providers website and are sent automatically? Or pop into your local outlet and let them set you up.

Sounds like your phone may have adjusted the settings when you were roaming. Should be fairly simple to resolve.

You need to be on a Verizon cell site, and if you have any kind of VPN in effect it won't work period.

This is my first droid and I have to say the iPhone is much better at this. I travel internationally a lot and hate to say it but it just works I never have to do anything. Now it has become work to even send a text. not loving the android life right about now
